Term & Condition for Proteksi Siaga

Asuransi Mega Personal Accident (can be called “Proteksi Siaga” or “Insurance Policy”) is an insurance product that is insured by PT PFI Mega Life Insurance (“PFI Mega Life”). Once you have successfully registered, you will be registered as an insured participant of the main Insurance Policy.

Proteksi Siaga is an insurance policy with annual coverage, with monthly premium payments. You can participate at any time as long as the annual Insurance Policy is valid.

Proteksi Siaga applies to everyone (1) insured participant. You can also register for any of your immediate family members, subject to their consent and health declaration.

By registering for Proteksi Siaga, you acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions of Proteksi Siaga, including the Product Summary, E-Certificates, and Endorsements specifying the coverages and exclusions, which may be provided by PFI Mega Life. You are advised to read the Product Summary and terms of Proteksi Siaga before registering.

After your registration is successful, a copy of the E-Certificate or other policy document will be provided to you digitally.

You acknowledge and agree that the statements you make in the purchase request will form the basis of the insurance contract and you represent that all information provided is true, correct, and complete. If any of the information is incorrect, inaccurate, or incomplete, your purchase of Proteksi Siaga may be canceled and void.

You acknowledge that you are aware that you may seek independent advice from a qualified advisor before purchasing SProteksi Siaga. You agree to take full responsibility for ensuring that this product meets your financial needs and insurance objectives.

You can update your information, assign or nominate a beneficiary for your Proteksi Siaga directly through PFI Mega Life.

The Free-look period (studying the policy) does not apply to Proteksi Siaga. After the successful registration and issuance of the E-Certificate, you are deemed to have agreed to the Insurance Policy, terms, and conditions, and any premium paid will not be refundable.

There is no waiting period for accidental death benefits. Please note that there are a waiting period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issuance of the E-Certificate for compensation for critical illness and death due to non-accidental causes.

Failure to pay monthly premiums (due to insufficient balance or declined payment transactions) for 10 days or more may result in the expiration of the Proteksi Siaga cover.

The Proteksi Siaga Product Offer may be changed, withdrawn, or terminated by PFI Mega Life at any time with or without prior notice to you. For the avoidance of doubt, this will not affect the insurance coverage that you previously had, and the insurance coverage will remain valid in accordance with the provisions in the Policy document or E-Certification issued to you.
